Music for the soul. music elevated you to higher realms is what you hear from learned musicians. Dikshithar, SRI Muthuswamy dikshithar, was one of the Holy Trinities. The others were sri.Thyagarajar and sri.Shyama saasthrikal.
This blog is to record what I heard from sri. Neyveli Santhanagopalan. In the context of what words from Mahans can do and the Power behind their words.the Thapas and vairagyam which made them special.
when sri.Dikshidhar was travelling towards Ettayapuram Zamin, he saw all the starved fields and people because of the drought prevailing there. His heart was drawn towards those sufferings. Immediately he began singng the Kruthi called Amirthavarshini Anandhaaamritha AAkarshini. and so powerful was his thoughts and words , the rain started pouring down immediately drenching the whole area.so awesome was the sight, that people living there were spell bound. and Dikshithar had to use another word Sthamba to stop the downpour.Will find more about sri ,.Deekshithar and write here.

Making up for lost time

we start thinking when we are born. to translate those thoughts our vocabulary has to come in to exercise. that happens when we start practising our speech. with the mother's help. then father's
brothers,family ,friends,and teachers.
putting down your honest thoughts require planned thinking and free flow of language. Hope I can achieve the same with the Sri Pillayaars help.
